Course Description: Utilizing technology (intra oral scanners, cbct scanners, digital design, CAD/CAM, 3D printers, etc) to evaluate, design and restore smiles can level the playing field. Where historically many dentists have relied on artistic ability, intuitive esthetic skills, and years of training and experience, this technology can now assist clinicians achieve confidence and clinical results. Design, prototypes, prep guides, intraoral scanning help advance skill level. Pitfalls, limitation and fails from relying exclusively on technology will also be discussed.
