Course Description: Pulpotomies are indicated when caries removal or trauma result in pulp exposure in a primary or young permanent tooth with a normal pulp or reversible pulpitis. After the surgical removal of a portion or all of the coronal pulp, the remaining tissue of the pulpal complex must be preserved and treated. TheraCal PT Bisco TM is a novel biocompatible, dual cured, resin-modified calcium silicate material to be used after partial or complete removal of the coronal pulp for pulpotomy treatment.
In this webinar you will learn to diagnose teeth that are candidates for pulpotomy, you will study technique for successful pulpotomy and use of TheraCal PT Bisco TM resin modified calcium silicate material. I will share several clinical cases and discuss step by step procedures using TheraCal PT Bisco TM in pulpotomies for primary teeth.
